“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come... shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:38–39
Reflection
Paul lists every conceivable category of opposition — present things, future things, cosmic forces, death itself — and declares that none of them can cut the cord of God's love. This is not wishful thinking; it is theological confidence rooted in the cross. The love that sent Jesus to die for you while you were still an enemy cannot be severed by anything that happens after you became His child.
Today's Prayer
“Father, let this truth settle deep today — nothing in all creation can separate me from Your love in Christ Jesus.”
