“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22–23
Reflection
Paul calls these qualities "fruit" — not achievements. Fruit is not manufactured by the branch; it grows naturally from connection to the vine. We cannot will ourselves into love or perform our way to peace. These qualities emerge as the Holy Spirit works from the inside out. The invitation is not to try harder but to stay connected, and trust the Spirit to produce what only He can grow.
Today's Prayer
“Holy Spirit, grow Your fruit in me today — especially in the places where I feel most deficient.”
