Reflection
When asked to choose from hundreds of commands, Jesus chose love — and He demanded all of it. Not a portion, not a Sunday share, but heart, soul, and mind together. This is not a burdensome standard but a liberating focus: when love for God is first, everything else in life aligns around its proper center. Life's competing loyalties all yield to the one great loyalty.
