“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18
Reflection
Paul does not say give thanks for everything — as if we must pretend hard things are good. He says give thanks in everything, which is a posture of the heart that looks for God's hand even inside difficulty. Gratitude is not denial; it is a choice to acknowledge what is true and good even when it shares space with what is hard. It is, Paul says simply, the will of God.

Today's Prayer
“Father, I choose gratitude today — open my eyes to what is good, and help me trust You with what is hard.”
