“But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”
Isaiah 43:1
Reflection
God did not address Israel as a collective category — He called them by name. Names in Scripture carry identity and relationship. To be called by name by the Creator of the universe is to be seen, known, and claimed. You are not a number in God's database; you are a person He formed, redeemed, and calls His own. Whatever identity crisis today brings, this one holds.
Today's Prayer
“Lord, thank You that You know my name and have called me Yours — let that truth speak louder than every voice that questions my worth.”
