“If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.”
Daniel 3:17
Reflection
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not know whether God would rescue them — and they still refused to bow. Their faith was not conditional on a guaranteed outcome. "He is able" and "He will" they said, and then added their famous line: "But if not, we still will not bow." That kind of faith is not blind optimism; it is settled trust in a God whose character does not change based on what He chooses to do.
Today's Prayer
“Lord, let my faith in You be unconditional today — I trust You whether the fire is removed or I walk through it with You.”
