Reflection
Paul uses the language of creation — the same word used in Genesis when God made something from nothing. In Christ, your past does not define your future; it has been genuinely superseded by something new. This is not self-improvement but re-creation: God did not patch the old version of you, He made you new. You are not who you used to be.
