Reflection
James wrote to believers scattered and under pressure, facing decisions with no obvious right answer. His counsel was refreshingly direct: just ask God. The remarkable detail is that God gives wisdom generously and without scolding — He does not remind you of the times you should have asked sooner. He simply gives. No problem is too small to bring to the One who has all wisdom.
