Peter's word for "casting" is the same used when fishermen flung their nets — a decisive, deliberate throw. Anxiety is not released by willing it away; it is released by actively placing it in stronger hands. God does not ask you to feel carefree; He asks you to transfer your cares to One who has both the power and the love to carry them.
