Reflection
Children trust without demanding proof first. They come with open hands rather than negotiating terms. Jesus held up this posture not as intellectual naivety but as relational dependence — the opposite of self-sufficiency. The kingdom belongs to those who come to God with nothing to offer except their need. Pride is the greatest barrier to receiving what only grace can give.
