Reflection
This verse is often quoted as a formula for getting what we want, but the sequence is the key. Delight comes first — a genuine, joy-filled enjoyment of God for who He is, not for what He gives. When our delight is truly in Him, something remarkable happens: our desires are gradually shaped by His desires, so what we want and what He wants for us begin to align.
