Isaiah wrote to a people worn down by exile and uncertainty, and yet he offered them one of Scripture's most soaring promises. Waiting on the Lord is not passive — it is active trust that positions us to receive what only God can give. The image of eagle's wings reminds us that His strength lifts us far above what our own effort could ever reach.
