Reflection
David wrote this psalm from the hillsides where he had personally cared for sheep, and he knew that a good shepherd provides everything a flock needs. In the same way, God promises to be our shepherd — meeting our needs before we even voice them. When anxiety creeps in, we can return to this simple, anchor truth: we do not lack because the Lord leads.
