In a world that celebrates busyness, God's command to "be still" is almost countercultural. But stillness is not emptiness — it is the posture of a soul that has stopped striving to control what only God can manage. When we quiet our own noise, we create space to know Him more deeply, and that knowledge is itself a source of unshakeable peace.
